Scope of Service
MapStack supports the current and immediate previous version of these browsers:
- Chrome
- Safari
- Firefox
- Edge
The latest version only of these browsers is supported, but may have visible rendering differences.
We try to make the site compatible with as many browsers as possible; we cannot guarantee the site will work with browsers not on this list.
Rights
You can choose to remain anonymous. The only signup requirements are payment and a working email address. We do not specifically block pre-paid cards.
You have the right to export your data from the site at any time, subject to reasonable constraints on bandwidth.
You can close your account and delete all your data at any time directly from your account page.
Your data will not be intentionally shown to other users or shared with third parties.
Your personal data, including your email address and identity, will not be shared with anyone without your consent.
With the exception of our standalone payment page, you will not be served any third-party content (scripts, cookies, or images) unless you include such content in your maps.
Your data will be backed up regularly and the backups tested.
If there is a significant outage, you will receive a full explanation of the circumstances and what measures will be taken to prevent a recurrence.
If the site ceases operation, you will receive an opportunity to download your stored data in human and machine readable formats suitable for import into other services.
You have the right to receive an explanation, and when possible advance warning, if your account is throttled or cancelled for the reasons outlined below.
Any new features that affect privacy will be strictly opt-in.
You will be treated with respect and discretion.
Responsibilities
You may not make automated requests to the site more frequently than once every 60 seconds.
Publishing maps that can be reasonably interpreted as intending to cause offence will be removed and may result in account cancellation.
You must not abuse the site by knowingly including malicious code, or links to malicious sites, that could harm other users. If you find a security or privacy bug in MapStack please report it immediately.
You may not use the site to harass other users or publish maps for the purpose of harassment.
We reserve the right to throttle accounts consuming an unreasonable proportion of site resources (such as map views over your generous alloted quota).
You cannot publish content illegal under UK law.
